Battlefields and Bridges brings together deeply human stories of struggle and redemption. From a pastor struggling with suicidal thoughts to generations of black men sharing wisdom on a stoop, to a Caribbean publican fighting for his cultural legacy in 1990s London. to mothers bearing witness to the toil of gang violence and a young man’s desperate plea for forgiveness after committing a terrible crime. These stories uncover the hidden wars we fight and the fragile bridges we build in search of healing and hope.
